I know this has probably been asked before but I'll ask again because I haven't been able to find........... tampons with applicators. If anyone could let me know where to get them I'd appreciate................my SO suggested the chemist but if I could find them, off the shelf in a supermarket I'd be happy. On another note, I'm about to head into Orebro and will be there at around 12.30-1ish. If anyone (hi Carolyn) fancies meeting up for a coffee give me a call on 0736 222 734.

They sell Tampax here with the applicator. Check larger grocery stores like Coop. Most small stores don't sell them.

I found some recently at a regular grocery store. They were the OB brand but with applicators

I've found (after much searching) Tampax tampons with applicators and Chinese writing on the box at COOP and MAXI. Does anyone have any fun suggestions for all those ones without applicators I bought by mistake?

Color them with red and green food coloring and use them on the Christmas tree???
To Lisa, I went to Stockholm today, sorry I didn't see you were coming here until I got home tonight. I'll ring you this week anyway.

Okay. I guess this is a stupid question, but what are applicators? I've always used tampons and I've never seen an applicator. Or am I missing something vital in the packets?

Okay, if there's a graceful way to say this, I can't think of it but here goes anyway.....a tampon without an applicator is the tiny cotton thing you insert into the proper cavity with your fingers. A tampon with an applicator is the same tiny cotton thing encased in either cardboard or plastic which allows you to insert without using quite so much of your fingers.

I always stock up on them when I go to the BIG CITY. I found a generic brand, regular absorbency, at Överskottsbolaget, once.

The applicator pushes the tampon up for you, so you don't have to go inside. I hope I'm not being too gross.

Okay ... I have a suggestion about what to do with the ones without applicators. There´s still enough time so they can be ready in time to hang them in your Christmas tree. NOONE will know where they come from. ;D I think they are pretty cute . web.dbtech.net/~suncastl/angel.htmHope the link works !
