Sad news today, Maurice Gibb died at age 53 of heart failure following abdominal surgery for a blocked intestine. For those that don't recognize which one he was, he was one of the twins, small, slim, balding, usually wore a hat and had the facial hair.
For those who dismiss the BeeGees as just being disco, they recorded for many, many years before that and did some exquisite ballads, very good writing team as well as musicians.

Yeah, and isn't it funny how the older you get, the younger 53 looks? I'll be 53 this July.

A few weeks ago out of no where, I had a dream that the Bee Gees got back together, and did a concert and that I got to go. It is sad that he died. It seems a carefree part of my life went with it. I used to love their music, and would go to the roller rink and dance to it. It sounds lame now, but in the 70's that was cool, in fact I think the whole 70's were cool. Maurice Gibb has joined his twin now, and they're probably making some great music!

I think that it was sad that he died too, since I do like their music! I think that the other twin brother is still alive though, but I know there is another brother who has also passed away...but that was several years ago....
