Oh man, happy new year, BAD new year! Well, hopefully that will give you time to find something else, and unemployment is NOT to be sneezed at.

I'm only working 20 to 25 hours a week, with exception around Xmas. This is the perfect job! I can still be there for the kids after school ... get a few things done in the morning before I start at 10am ... sigh! Hopefully someone will come along & buy the contract & hire two gals. Full time work is out of the question for me,being that Peter's work takes him away a fair bit ... our kids need some Consistency.
Debbie sportslov is just around the corner ;D

Natooke, your work experience and Swedish abilites should make Arbetsförmedlingen willing to help you find a job with the hours you need. Hang in there!

Um ... the topic here is a good question. Where IS everyone? It's been 3 days since there's been a post. Heh ... figures. I just get to Sweden and my adoptive support group dies.

Vember, hang in there, this board goes through periodic quietness, probably now due to the holidays and getting back to work.
Welcome to Sweden and don't freak, we're here if you need us. Just trying to do some adjustments.

I'm sorry I haven't been posting lately. My internet life has taken a major back-seat to my Sims life. Plus, everytime Fredrik reformats the computer I need atleast a month before I get the energy to start fiddling with all my passwords. I know I have a list somewhere that would make that whole ordeal a lot less annoying. Once I get started it's fine, but it's still a little intimidating. Anyhow, Vember, you have a very happy little brunch invitation in your private message box. Welcome to sweden

I'm getting close to my first test in SFI and I'm freaking out... so until I'm back to my normal self (or have more questions) I'm not in the posting mood. OH, and if anyone wants to answer a question of mine about the tests, you can go to my site and read my latest post about it and comment if you can. Help the confusion end!!!! www.shades-of-me.com

Hey all! I've been racked up over my mother's medical condition and my early menopause news. I'm learning to de-stress and take it easy . Mother sounds better and the doctors are very hopeful for her. I'm glad of course. I've been busy with SFI and like Jerseygirl, lost a good teacher recently and stuck with a real bore but I'm doing more self study at home to make sure I learn as much as possible. We were invited to Gunnar's friends place in Eckero for the day to skate and so on. It was great! I've never ice skated or walked on ice before....it was outstanding! It was an experience ! We used "the kick" and I really liked it! I think I know what I want for xmas next year!! ;D ;D I'm still hoping for a meet in Stockholm... ;D ;D ;D
