I was wondering if anyone was up for a get together this year?
Last summer many of us from this site, the Canadian site, and Amerikanska went to Natooke's for a weekend get together. It was lots of fun.
Is anyone up for it this year? Maybe we could have something at a campground, or a hostel or something similar. Does anyone have any ideas? Anyone interested?

Oh yeah! Let's get something rolling! I want to prepare hubby in advance. Carolyn, didn't you mention Örebro? If not, I think I can manage something here. I might have an in with the boss on the student dorm. I know that they use one of them as a vandrahem in the summer.

I'd thought Örebro would be a good central location, but I haven't done a thing about it yet, so if you're motivated, a get-together near the Norwegian border could be nice too.

Let me talk to my hubby and see what he says. A year and a half ago we had a bbq (approx. 35 people) which he survived and he is beginning to come up out of his funk, so maybe we can do it here. I'll talk to my boss, too, about the elevhem and stuff. If we could do it here at the school, that would be great! If it's a go, I'll post it in the Get-togethers forum.

Oh, oh, oh.... check out my post in the Get togethers forum.
For those of you that would like to make it a little bit longer vacation than a weekend, let me know. I can check out some activities, like taking a boat trip on Dalsland's canal or going to the west coast or an excursion into Norway, or what have you.
