Sex Is Driving Me Crazy Complains Swedish Woman
A Swedish woman, tired of the noise made by her amorous neighbours in the apartment above, has taken her quest for silent nights to her local health committee.
Health official Jon Persson said today that the woman said she was “distressed, angry and tense all over” because her neighbours make love loudly almost every night.
He said it was the first time he can recall such a complaint ever being filed in the Scandinavian country. Typically, most disputes get settled between neighbours and don’t require government intervention.
The woman, who was not identified, complained that the lovemaking usually starts around 10 p.m. and lasts well past midnight, sometimes to 1 a.m., Persson said in Simrishamn, 382 miles south of Stockholm, .
According to a copy of her complaint, she said the lovers’ efforts have left her with tense headaches, cramps and heartburn.
“You are my last hope, please help me,” the woman wrote in the complaint, according to Persson.
Persson said he’s not entirely sure how to help the woman, noting that it is the landlord of the apartment building ”whose duty it is to make sure the nuisance stops.”<br> He said his committee could visit the woman’s apartment and measure the noise levels, but said it might be hard to do that because “we don’t know in advance when the disturbances will occur.”

Jeez. Why hasn't she just spoken to the couple, or the landlord???
"she said the lovers’ efforts have left her with tense headaches, cramps and heartburn"

Well, we have a similar problem, in that the kids below us go at it on a regular basis and she's a moaner, but fortunately, they're young and either not picky or don't care, so it generally only takes about 5 minutes! ;D Of course, maybe the sounds of laughter coming from above them is a little off-putting as well.

I am so very thankful that we live in our own house! We've talked about selling it and moving into an apartment, but, no, I don't think so. ;D

Two words.....ear.....plugs..... When they are noisy downstairs I pop them in. They take enough edge off the noise that I can sleep but don't keep me from hearing my alarm. Let me specify that it is NOT sex noises that I have to block out.

We're happy to be living in a house too. The poodle's next door are let out at 10 pm like clock work..... they do their barky routine & pass under our bedroom window Unfortunately one of our nearest neighbours due have marital spats … it’s so disturbing to hear it when you’re out in your yard …. Her voice resonates & he leaves like “a bat out of hell” only to return moments later to the cave.
