Happy July the 4th to us "yanks" on this site! Is anyone celebrating it in a special way? We were going to BBQ but it looks like it will rain soon so it will be an indoor thing. I have my super cool American flag t-shirt on that comes out once a year. Funny thing is, I bought it here at H & M.

We're heading to the annual AWC Malmö 4th of July party in a couple of hours, these thunderstorms can't keep us down! It's a huge bash, around 80 people, and a lot of fun. I hope the rain will allow us out to play some games though, as even the big barn will get crowded after awhile. Either way, good food, good friends, good fun! Happy 4th to all of you

After I wrote the header for this thread I realized that I spelled, "Independence" wrong!! Maybe I need to re-learn English. Sorry...
Have fun at the BBQ Lizardek!

The Sambo and I got in the car and took a blanket, a frisbee, some hot dogs, and a one-time grill to a nearby park. It was sunny the whole time on us even though the surrounding horizon had dark clouds and constant thunder. It was really nice. I wished I had a little flag with me, but instead I had my little July 4th Starbucks bear that's dressed up like Uncle Sam LOL I enjoyed it muchly ;D

Thanks Sabeine! We had a blast We ended up with the tables in the barn due to the uncertain weather and probably because we did so, it didn't rain on us, just a few drops here and there. Everyone had a good time, and the food was EXCELLENT Fun times!

Hope you all had a happy 4th! I spent my day filling my dumpster. Next year, we'll actually be back here for the 4th as well. My mom & dad's 59th anniversary is tomorrow so we've already agreed we would come home here for their 60th!
