Ick! It has been a terrible summer weatherwise so far here in Stockholm. It has been cloudy and rainy for many weeks now. The few times the sun has peeked through it was for an hour or so. Is this how summer is going to be this year? How is it where you live?

I don't think it's been THAT bad a summer. At least it's not been dreadfully hot, which I was worried about since we're on the top floor facing southwest! The summer I moved here, 2000, I thought was much worse, colder, much rainier.

It's been much colder than usual here in Indiana but when I say "colder" I'm talking about 60's at night and 70's to 80's during the days. It sure beats 90's and 100's. Per has complained about the rain and cold so far in Trollhättan and seems to think that once I have to deal with the summer weather there once that I'll want to come back home. He keeps forgetting that I hate our extreme hot and cold weather here and that I really like rain. I think it's a match made in heavan!

Sweden is having it's wettest, coldest summer since 1928. Didn't some weather man warn us about drought a couple of months ago? I'd like to personally thank him for THAT scare!
