Aussie spent the summer cruising the Baltic in their boat and when she got home found that unspecified step-kids had downloaded something really nasty onto their computer, totally jamming up the hard drive, and it's in the hospital recovering from some viruses.
Cake Guru is around, heard she went to the opera night before last.

Cake Guru did definately go to the opera, and heard all about Debbie's obnoxiously bratty brats.
India probably won't happen until 2006 (we're planning at least two months there).
The whole hysterical wedding season is finally winding down, but the 2005 bridezillas are starting to call for consultations and bookings!

But this is a GOOD thing! Booking ahead of time, giving you assurances of business next season too!

Yes, CG and I DID go to the opera. We went to Turandot. It was a spectacular performance and the staging and costumes were as good as you would expect in a opera perfomrance in Chicago. I have heard that they are sold out for the rest of the run. It is a little more difficult year this year than last. Last year's class ran on auto-pilot; this year's class, to say the least, does not. Oh well, no one said it would be easy. What up with you Natooke?

Cake Guru ... that's sounds great your business is doing well ;D I've never gone to an Oprea thou in my childhood one mother tried to make us kids sit and listen ... the music fascinated only me. Which leads me into Debbie ... I remember you talking about last years class so fondly ... week 44 is coming up real soon, hang in there. Thanx Carolyn for keeping me updated about Aussie ... When you don't see a active member on-line for a while you start to get worried ... besides how many times must I read her decedent chocolate cake recipe ? before I put any more kilo's on. Carolyn even thou I'm not privy to what happen with the move down south this fall ... glad to hear you both found out before the wheels were in motion. Sabiene, Sandy, Pam, Jersey Girl, Lizardek(sp), Vember & Brandy and the rest of this cyber clan … Hope all is well. Natooke who is hibernating, but enjoying life.

All is well here for me too, except for a migraine today. It WILL be gone tomorrow. I don't have time for those inconveniences! I've been out walking, playing with the kids, bringing them to and from sports, catechism, music lessons, back and forth from friends houses .... The life of a stay-at-home Mom! I can't wait for the ski season!

I'm still around. Been dealing with co-worker problems and then we went to Denmark for our anniversary. Also trying to get the house rearranged and back into some kind of order.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately either, my online time has been spent jobsearching lately, and venting on my LJ. Thank god I got a job offer today!! Life is suddenly looking MUCH rosier.
