Considering Closing the Site

I agree about the negativity. There have been several negative remarks made about Leslie, a couple in this thread alone. I just want to clear up for those that might not know how important she has been in getting Positively Sweden up and running. And to stress again that I think the message board is still a good place to check in with each other whether the rest of the site is finished or not.
We who post regularly are settled and content and leading regular, busy lives. Just like we were in America. That took most of us a long time and a lot of adjustments and we are here to offer a hand to those that haven't gone through it yet as well as to support each other in weak moments and help find that little something someone may be looking for. That's why this site came into being. I don't know of anywhere else to go for this kind of caring and support and would sorely miss it. If even a dozen others feel the same I would like to keep the message board active.

I've been mulling this over for a while in my head, since seeing this thread, and I've finally come to a desicion.

I would very very gladly help get the site back up. Web Design is my thing. Hell, I teach it even. I can do a website. This is not a problem. I would be very happy to help out. I just need to know where it will be. Will it still be at the geocities site it's at, or???

Actually, first you have to tell me if you want my help or not, then we'll get to the technical stuff LOL So let me know.

I think it is awfully kind of you to offer your services. I remember talking to you at Annie's BBQ before the summer about this website and how it would be wonderful to bring back the old articles and such.

I know that you started teaching recently so you must be very busy. I don't want you to feel pressured into helping. I really don't. I think it is really nice that you even offered.

With regards to Leslie, you are right Pam. She did a lot of the work on this website and a great job at it too. We contributed to the articles but she did the design and HTML.

She decided to leave and that was sad for us here on PS. Since then we have been stagnant and not really able to do much.

I like the positive tones on this board and always have. That was why we wanted to start this website in the first place. I'd really like to keep it this way.
