Good idea, but have no idea at all how to do that, since Leslie was in charge of the message board, and she won't even answer e-mails anymore.
I'm thinking when I have some spare time (hopefully next week), I want to go in and collect all the recipes that have been posted and store them, as well as all the links and good bits of information. Then perhaps along with the new site, which is in the design process, we can link with a new message board as well. Any suggestions on this?

I think proboards has a feature which you can turn on to automatically delete messages more than ______ days old. I'm not certain, as it's been ages since I had access to an administrator panel on these things. I do know that on another proboard forum I'm a mod of, that is exactly what happens.
After a month of no posts, the post poofs. On this site you may want to make it more like 3 months, but I'm not sure how variable that is. If you look in the administration panel and cannot find the option, I can ask the owner of that other proboard forum how he's got it set up, if you like.

I know Pam is supposedly the global moderator or administrator or whatever it's called. If I only had some extra time from work, I could sit and probably figure it out.

Les is going to school full-time, I think. She sounded pretty swamped last I heard.

Les is going to school full time, commuting by bus, taking care of her family and trying to have a new baby. Pam doesn't know how to do it either, is working full time, taking an evening class and renovating her apartment.

Pam, LOL, too funny. We will figure this out! No big deal! You guys sound busy, tired and overwhelmed. Take a deep breath ladies. Iiiiinnnnn ---- oooouuuuutttttt! This doesn't have to be taken care of right away. We all enjoy coming and checking in. We have people who are willing to figure out this moderator stuff, and people who offered to do it, but later.

Looks like Proboards has upgraded the forum software.
