Relocation from USA to Sweden

I guess these questions are to anyone who can give sound advice.
I am a dual citenzen between the US and Sweden, i have lived in Sweden before as a child (1963), I am considering moving within the next year back to Sweden to the Gothenburg area, I am not concerned to much about me and my papers, but a femail friend of mine will be moving with me, she has never been to Sweden, and I am not familiar with the necessary papers required for her to live there with me for a period of 3-5 years, or to perhaps file for residency.
I have family there, and she has distant family in the Neitherlands.
I guess my questions is, what is the best way for her to live there for the appointed time in regards to documents required?
She hopes to work and attend school for the language while she is there.
If she must file for residency, where can we obtain the necessary papers that need to be filed, we are still currently in the USA?
