I am new to this board (thanks for the welcome Carolyn, this is actually my first chance to post since I signed up this morning). Not so new to discussing Sweden though, and as I am sure Carolyn can vouge, I can go on and on about Sweden.
Here's bit about me. I am a 30 year old stay at home mom living in Colorado right now. I have 3 kids, and one of the way. My husband is Swedish, and has been living here for just over 3 years. Just recently I got an 'urge' to move back to Sweden and have been picking Carolyn's brain about it as well as trying to get my family to see how good of an opportunity it would be for us. Stefan, my husband, is just starting to see the light, so to speak, and definitely thinks we should do it at some point, but not necessarily this next summer, like I would like to. He could very well be right, with a baby coming, perhaps moving now would be too stressful, though we did it during my last pregnancy pretty much across country, driving! Ugh, now is that was not stressful, I don't know what is. My thoughts are first, we would not be having everything with us (of course), second we would be flying, not driving, and third we would not be needing to take care of everything as we did then, since we would hang on to this house, at least for a period of time. Things are not thoroughly thought out by any means at this point, we are just begining to figure out if we should, or if we even can, considering all the paper work, and visa's and permits and so on.
So that is me. My kids, btw, are young, 9, 5 and 2. I was really hoping to move them before they make very good friends, or before my older one becomes a pre-teen and would be harder to move. They are still pretty versatile and adjust well to new things.
