I found this site addy at the Amerikanska site and I am hoping there are some moms on here with kids around 10. I have a 10 year old boy that is a Webelos with BSA's Lone Scout program. We, also, homeschool here in Sweden and we have been helping others get started with homeschooling here too. We have lived in Sweden over 6 years and we have been homeschooling ever since my son was ready to learn.
If anyone is interested or just wants to chat about it just let me know.

Welcome to the site, Cowgirl. I know a few of the people here are located down in your area and one, Jessica, lives in Borås as well, as does one of my bestest friends, Monik, who has a 3.5 year old and is preggers again.

I know Jessica if it is who I think it is.  If she is the one I know her husband works with mine at Viskan. I am glad I came to this site to post. Already, I have had 2 people email me about homeschooling here in Sweden. Just to let you all know..... Yes it is legal here in Sweden and if someone threatens you please email me and I will help you because my husband and I know the school law here and the EU law as well. |

If your husband works with Linus, yes, it's the same Jessica. If not, there must be 2 there in Borås.
I hope to get down there before June to visit my friend who's going to make me an honorary auntie again!

yep yep that is her. She is a little sweetie. I wish I saw more of her but I know that she is young and don't need to be hanging around an oldy like me. My son really likes her. |
