I've made a few posts here so I guess I should introduce myself! My name is Sheri and I live in Wisconsin. I fell in love with Sweden back in high school when I was an exchange student in Köping. Someday I would love to move to Sweden but I am still working on convincing my husband. Everyone seems very friendly here and I hope to get to know you all better! Sheri

Welcome, Sheri. Is your husband Swedish or have you just assimilated a love for all things Swedish from the state you grew up in? My Swedish husband and I have a fondness for Wisconsin. We camped there a few nights when we were courting.

No, my husband is American which is why I am having such a hard time convincing him to move to Sweden! I haven't even gotten him there on vacation yet... Just liked what I saw and experienced in Sweden during my short time there.

Hi!
I'm fond of all things Wisconsin, too, since I was born and raised there!!
Where do you live?

Hi Sandy!
I live in Wisconsin Rapids. Maybe you've heard of it - a medium sized town on the Wisconsin River known for its paper mill (which by the way was bought out by a Swedish firm, Stora Enso). Where in WI are you from?

Sure, I know where the Rapids is. Let's see, I was born in Tomah, lived the early years in Auburndale, Marshfield, Arpin, and Racine, high school in Stratford, then back to Marshfield, 11 year break while I lived in California, back to Lyndon Station, then Tomah, and, finally, Green Bay, before moving to Sweden.
Wecome to Positively Sweden!
Natooke, we'll have to do some reminising when I get down there!
