Hi,
My husband and I -- both American -- are moving to Göteborg this summer (from Connecticut) so I have been trawling the web for any and all info about Sweden. This forum has been recommended highly by many folks out there, so I'm glad to have joined.

Well, welcome to the board. YOu will find that we aren't always terribly active, mostly because we have all created some kind of life over here, but I'm sure you'll find if you have questions, somebody will answer them. There are several of us over in your soon to be neck of the woods as well.

Hi Mel,
I'm originally from MA! We are north of Stockholm here. Gothenburg is warmer than CT, so I think you'll actually miss the snow! But summer will be nice!!
Welcome!

Welcome Mel!
I'm in Stockholm, so I can't help you out with anything about Göteborg. Although I've heard about how beautiful and charming it is.
Like Carolyn said, we aren't very active here, but if you do have any questions about anything, people usually answer them in good time.
