HI! I know some of you from other forums but still wanted to introduce myself.

I am Nicole. I am moving to Oxie on December 1 2004!! yeaaaaa!!! Although I have some weirdness about moving to a place I have never been (I have been to Malmö and really wish that Simon hadn't moved to Oxie with his friend) I am excited. I have some doubts about living in part of a house with someone else and have said something to Simon. He is uncomfortable sometimes too but doesn't have time to look for an apartment right now because of his work schedule. I don't want him to feel bad for moving but I really don't think this is the way to go for me.....moving to a new country, in a house, with two guys and tons of musicians coming and going (recording studio is in the house and musicians tend to spend the night a lot). I just really don't want this to be harder than it is going to be for the first few months. Granted Simon has his own area. He has like a huge studio apartment (minus a kitchen which they share and is upstairs) but he has said that he feels like this isn't his place and wants to find a place that will be just ours. I think maybe he is starting to think about how this is going to affect me. But this could also be good because I will always have someone to talk too LOL! Maybe I am just nervous. LOL could be!

I thought about calling you today and then I got busy and went to my mothers to help her with some yard work. Now I am sitting inside enjoying a cold beer.......*aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah* and flipping through the 4 channels I have on the idiot box.

Hej Nicole and welcome. I know that Pam here and her sambo share part of a house with his brother and girlfriend and I know that's often been annoying for Pam as well. I personally wouldn't care for that much traffic myself, but then I'm old (plus I've lived with musicians before!)

Welcome to PS, and welcome in advance to Sweden!

Almost every town in this country is great (from the few I've seen, anyway) so hopefully you'll like Oxie just as well.

As for living with roomies and musicians ... sounds terribly fun, or maybe just terrible --- but it'll be a part of your life you'll miss when it's done. Roomies are, at least, guaranteed social interaction, and they're sure to help you with your Swedish (if you need any help there.)

Thanks guys! I just can't wait to move. I would just love to take out a loan for $10,000 and skip the country but Karma will bite back.

Anyway, I think sharing a house is going to be okay for a few months (at least that is what I am telling myself to believe). Simon and I will be getting our own place next year. Probably in the spring.
