Hej ya'll, I guess I'm just saying hello. I found this website this morning and signed up right away. I am a 37yr./female who has just moved over here from Tennessee...Go Vols for all you football fans  I married a Swede in the US 2 yrs. ago but his employment brought him back "home" so my 10yr. old daughter and I went through the Residency process and here we are, living in Vellinge !! We arrived the middle of July. Of course neither us of speak Swedish, we tried to pick up some before leaving the US but it was not very helpful. YIKES !!!! My daughter seems to be picking little phrases much quicker than I. Greetings to all memebers of the wonderful website and thank you to it's creator! Regards, Tennessee |

Wow, welcome to Sweden and the PS board as well Here's hoping you and your daughter have a smooth transition. The people here are friendly and I'm sure you could come post any time there's a question or you just need to talk. Good luck, hope to see you around! |

We were living in Knoxville, which is east TN, then after I sold the house my daughter and I moved to Destin, FL, my parents live there, until our residency was approved.

Thanks for the welcome.....we actually went to Oland our first weekend here, all of his family has summer homes there, near Boroholm (sp) sorry for the misspelling of the citys, I'm trying!!! His family lives in Vaxjo when they are not on Oland.

She will be attending the school in our neighborhood, Herrestorp school, it starts Aug. 25.
