Okay, enough of Aussie's decadent chocolate recipes, what I need is a good basic coleslaw recipe, BUT not just ANY coleslaw will do. I want one with real creaminess, positively oozing juiciness. No cajan style, no pineapple, no gimmicks, but anybody got a real good old-fashioned creamy coleslaw recipe they can give me? ;D

KFC Cole Slaw
8 cups finely chopped cabbage 1/4 cup carrot, shredded 1/3 cup sugar 1/2 teas. salt 1/8 teas. pepper 1/2 cup mayonaise 1/4 cup milk 1/4 cup buttermilk ( Note: I substitute ½ cup milk with one T vinegar for the milk and buttermilk and let it sit for about 10 minutes before I add it) 1 1/2 tbls. white vinegar 2 1/2 tbls. lemon juice
Cut cabbage and carrots into small pieces about the size of rice kernels. (The food processor is great for this!) In small bowl, combine the sugar, salt, pepper, milk, mayonaise, buttermilk, vinegar and lemon juice. Beat until smooth. Mix cabbage and carrots and dressing. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
This is one of Bosse's favorites. It does taste remarkably close to KFC,

Hmm, well, since I have never eaten KFC coleslaw, I can't do a mental comparison, but anything the clone likes, I'm sure my clone will like as well. I want to do a proper American style picnic once both kids are back in town and (hopefully) it warms up a little bit.
