SITE is an international academic research institute at the Stockholm School of Economics.
Our objective is to develop a vibrant research environment in close contact with policymakers and business, in the EU and in the transition economies. Core activities are research, teaching, policy advice and provision of information. We are supported by and work closely with the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, several large Swedish multinationals, and international financial institutions such as the World Bank and EBRD.
We are looking for a well-organized, energetic person to provide qualified assistance to senior management as our Director's assistant will be on maternity leave. You will be involved in all activities of the Institute, from providing daily office support to assist in planning large academic conferences.
This position involves varied and stimulating work in a lively environment and you will be expected to know how to prioritize tasks in an academic workplace, often under time pressure; have excellent organization and communication skills; be trained in secretarial, computer and accounting abilities; pay attention to detail; and be capable of working both independently and within a small team
English is the main working language of the Institute.
