I moved from Oregon to Kiruna in Sept. 2001. I think I'm adjusted. Sorta.

Have you guys tried the Julost (also called something like Sturost)? My friend handed me a piece today and I about went insane with joy. It tasted a lot like what I remember mild cheddar cheese tasting like, so I ran out to the store and immediatly bought myself a huge, honking round of it (I wish they would have had something smaller). It's the first time I've actually enjoyed cheese since moving here, and I used to be a hard core Mild Tillamook Cheddar cheese fan.

Now I'm the other way around, I really miss prastost (can't make the computer do Swedish letters!), I really enjoyed the Swedish cheeses and find that almost all American made cheeses taste alike, whether cheddar, monteray jack, colby, whatever.
