Cakes are only as good as what you put in them.

Okay, gang.... it seems that everyone I talk to wants brownie pans... well, I know a gal outside of Göteborg who is a Wilton dealer, and has all sorts of cake pans and stuff. I've had my set of squares for a while and I love them! The sides are perfectly straight and the corners sharp. the only bad thing is that you shouldn't put them in the dishwasher! She can get ahold of 9x13-inch pans and other sheet pans. Make sure you get the 'Decorator Preferred' brand, as those are much better quality than the other brands Wilton sells.
Her name is Katarina and she's at
www.cakesandcandy.se
She also has food colors and other cake decorating supplies, mostly Wilton.
Check also with Agneta at
www.tartdecor.nu
She carries lots of stuff from England (Squire's Kitchen).
They both are very service-minded and I've ordered stuff on the fly and gotten it the next day! This is the place for professional paste food coloring, not that wimpy liquid crap that you find at the grocery store here!
Hope this helps someone out there!

Good to know, since I was planning on lugging back all kinds of cake pans. Well, I'm still bringing the angel food cake pan, since I already bought it, but ....

And for those needing a recipe to put in those 8-inch pans, I believe my incredible brownie recipe is posted on the main board under Recipes, even converted into Swedish measurements. ;D

Carolyn, I wanted to mention that I went over to the recipes section and did not find a brownie recipe, I would LOVE to have that, so if you could tell me where to look (if I am not looking in the right place) or repost it I would be so appreciative! Thanks!

Phooey, I thought for sure it was there, because I remember doing the conversions and everything. So that means it's back home sitting in storage with the rest of my cookbooks. BUT I just so happen to have my mom's recipe handy, which I will now go to the recipe sectoin and post, so check there. ;D

Hey, The Godiva Chocolate site has lots of brownie recipes. I haven't tried any of them yet but I bet I saved ten different ones because they looked so good.
