I got a catalog from a fellow American friend that I have made here. It is a French company that has been doing mail order here in Sweden 1998. www.laredoute.seYou can either order online, or through their 730 page catalog. They have a lot of things to choose from, women's, men's, children's, and home textiles such as sheets (they even have fitted sheets, in cotton, poly mix, and flannel) towels, tableclothes etc... the prices seem to be fair. I have not ordered from them, but my friend has and she was pleased. I am placing an order for a jacket, and some sheets today.

How much were those sheets? I went to the website and ordered a catalog but wondered if you could give me an idea on the prices. Ellos has fitted sheets for 99sek each so I was wondering if it was comparable to La Redoute. I am thinking of ordering some jersey sheets from Ellos, but I would LOVE some flannel sheets for the winter!

Anna, can you tell me how much the flannel sheets are? I ordered a catalog but got a notice in the mail today saying they were out of Fall/Winter catalogs, and that I would get the Spring one at the end of January. But I am really interested in those sheets. And unless I am misreading on the website I don't see where you can few items online.

They seem to range from a pillowcase to a duvet cover (what they call in Sweden a pÄslakan).
The prices seem to range from 79:- to 300-559:- This depends on if you want a pillowcase or a sheet set. It seems expensive but this is for the flannel set. I have a friend that ordered from this company and allthough it was not like home (US), she was pleased with their quality, and would order from them again.
I believe Cake Guru, has also had an experience with La Redoute. Maybe she can give us some insight into their mail order catalog?

I just got a catalog in the mail today, Nuova by Ellos, so maybe you guys that have already mentioned Ellos know about this one too, but it's not only got some plus size clothes that seem reasonably priced and attractive, BUT on the back are fitted sheets, 100% cotton. They even go all the way up the size chain to 180x200 cm, although the color choice is a lot less, BUT the plus side is they are offering both pillowcases and comforter covers in an incredible range of 13 solid colors, including black and scarlet. Website is www.nuova.se
