I'm basically on a budget so finding some really good stuff with reasonable price tags has always been something I like to sniff out wherever I go. So I'll share my recent experience: I've been eyeing this store at Hornsgatan for some time and finally managed to convince dh to stop the car for a quick look. African Touch (you guys probably know about it already) is at Hornsgatan 64b. Its on the same side as the Stads Second Hand. Really classy designer ceramics, textile, furniture and nick nacks. I saw table runners at Indiska for 80-150sek which were basically so-so but this here had hand made potato printed batik with really cool designs for 139sek. They have also made large photo frames made from the old rail way tracks for 150sek to 400sek. Ceramics are really cool designed by a Swede but made in Africa. I thought it would be extremely expensive considering where it was located and how it looked but it was quality and well designed products with competitive prices. I saw mass produced cheaply photo frames for much more at places like COOP so paying the same price for a really good looking frame is certainly worth it. We're thinking of getting one next week for our engagement photograph which incidently is missing....LOL Anyway sorry to ramble on..... the site --- ;D www.africantouch.se
