ICA Supermarket Moheda (northwest of Växjö) # 0472-700 02 cost 45 :- per kilo last day to order is 14/12 uppfödare Anders Karlsson, Hjortberga My local ICA & Konsums supplier does not supply fresh nor frozen turkey anymore I can get frozen Turkey breast but not the whole bird ... the ones that are in the freezer are rather small & that wouldn't feed my crowd. So thought I would pass the info on. We'll be picking up our Turkey on the 19th

Damn, those are good-sized birds! Wouldn't fit in my oven, but it's tempting. We'll be getting a turkey breast, I think, since there's only going to be 3 of us, we have the julskinka and other stuff as well and we both prefer the white meat anyway.
Thanks for the info.

I decided against the turkey, given the tons of food Anders is already fixing, but if I still see them in the stores after the new year, I may just go for it. I just wish I could only find the breast with bone in, since neither of us likes the dark meat.

No real cooking for me this Christmas. I want to make a turkey, but we won't be home on Christmas Day. My husband is making Julbord and we are driving to Arvika on Christmas Day. My SIL will be making a turkey, which means no leftovers for us. I may just get one after the holidays, when there is more room in the freezer!
Sandy, who's up at this ungodly hour watching the Packer game on her Christmas present (Viasat Sport) ;D

Zillions of frozen turkeys here.....well maybe not zillions but many.
I bought one to stick in the freezer for sometime later........
Carolyn, You can get a breast with bone in at Ingelstad. Maybe you can take a road trip to Stockholm. ;D
In fact as long as you are there get two. It beats gym socks.

Hi Sandy! I too received Viasat Sport. It's funny isn't it? That's what I, a girl, wanted. Anders could care less about sports. I didn't stay up to watch the Monday Night Football game since I worked today, but I recorded it and will watch it later this week. I already know who won I am not a Packers fan though I have nothing against them, it's that being a San Diego Chargers fan, we don't like the Raiders. So I'm thrilled that they lost! ;D Merry Christmas!
