Anybody know the proper name for those HUGE green caterpillers that go after tomato plants? We've been watching one now for several days and were wondering what kind of moth or butterfly they make eventually? I know from my childhood that if you squash it, it bleeds yellow, but at the moment, we're more into letting it do its thing (we have enough tomatoes to go around) and see if it makes its little cocoon soon.

Is this the one? or maybe this one: The first one will be a luna moth and the second a polyphemus moth.

Okay, so it looks like we have a polyphemus moth in the making.
