Last year I bought an amaryllis bulb from my son who is a Scout and has to sell these every year this time.
That bulb gave 3 stems with 4 flowers on each !!
Just beautiful !
So ... I decided to try and make it survive and hopefully bloom again this winter. With the help of my mother..... who runs a rescue center for my flowers that are about to die...... I managed to get it to bloom again !
This time it has only one stem with 4 flowers and they are not quite as big as last year but that is what normally happens to bulb plants, says my mother.
Maybe there still is hope for me !! ;D
