Gilbert & Sullivan?

Gilbert and Sullivan did some great musicals that were later adapted to stylish Broadway shows.

H.M.S. Pinafore, South Seas, Pirates of Penzance and many others.

I have tried to find them here to rent but have had no luck. Amazon.com sells them but each one is around $24. Does anyone here have a copy of any of those mentioned that I could copy and return? Or does anyone know of a place here in Sweden that rents them, or sells them for less?

So you're looking for the movies or recordings of the Broadway shows, like DVD's? Have you tried Kunliga Biblioteket? You can get CD's and DVD's and videos through them as well, you know. If they don't have it in Stockholm, which they probably do, because of the performing arts library there, they may have them in another place and will order them for you to check out.

Don't know for sure, just a suggestion.

I was hoping for a DVD recording of the Broadway musicals. If I can find only VHS though, that's fine too.

I'll look into the main library in Stockholm. The smaller ones don't seem to have it.

Use the Kungliga Biblioteket search modem and you can search all the libraries in Sweden.
