I know that many of you here on great at sewing and patterns etc. so I need you advice and expertise. I am interested in sewing a bedskirt for a queen sized bed. The reason is, we had a bedframe which was the headboard/footboard dealy but sold it. Since our bed is a queen we were told to not put it on just feet. They said that it could be a problem with a lack of support in the middle. We were advised to use those upside down wooden crossbow (like bow and arrow) things that they have here in Sweden. If you have seen them before you know what I mean, otherwise I don't know how to describe them so well. My reason for posting is that I was hoping to cover up the "bow" feet for this bed as I find it to be unattractive. I have looked for bedskirts here. I've found a few through Ellos and Josefssons catalogs that were nice but they were limited in the color selection and a bit ruffly. I wanted a simple pattern will the less "ruffles" the better. In fact if it could be straight along all edges with only the crease in the corners that would be perfect! Does anyone have a pattern like this, or know how I could sew this? Also, would it be difficult to sew?

Mimmi do you have some advice for me? Or maybe you know a store that sells patterns for a bedskirt?
