I was talking with mimmi when we had fika last Friday and she told me the most brilliant idea, never would have thought of it myself. But you know how you want curtains in the summer especially that will keep out that late Swedish brightness? Or any other time you want some lined curtains? She says she takes the covers or pÄslaken for a couple of single comforters and just runs the curtain rods through the upper part, where you have the two openings to adjust your quilt, and bingo, instant lined curtains. Isn't that the simplest, most brilliant idea? ;D

Yes I think it's an incredible idea ... ;D thanks!
I have a lace bedspread hanging in a window/door & use the clip & ring holders.

The rings with clips work with pillowcases too if you have a smaller window.

We bought blackout blinds (JYSK) for both the kids rooms ... this helps big time during the summer. I went as far as framing the inside window with black art paper ... about a 6 inch width so the rays would'nt crack through.
