Tonight Fredrik and I are hanging out, and I wanted to teach him how to play 2 player euchre. No one here knows how to play, and I don't have the patience to teach 3 other people how to play it to the level that they can understand it. I figured teaching Fredrik the two player version would be easy. I just can't find any instructions for it online. I already searched yahoo and google a bit. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find instructions? I haven't played since I was pretty young, so I don't quite remember much. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Never played it myself. Is it similar to bridge or cribbage? About all I've played of cards has been poker.

I don't know about those 2 games, or poker very much for that matter. (everyone thinks I'm a freak since I don't know poker) With euchre though, its like you have 2 teams, 2 players each, you're dealt 5 cards. Trump is established, and you try to take as many hands as you can with your partner, and there are little rules to it. Also, the jack of whatever trump is becomes the highest card, and the jack of the suit of the same color as trump becomes the second highest card, then ace, king, queen, etc. It's a really fun game, and there some different strategies of how to play. I miss it so much!

So it's kind of like bridge, only different.
