For a good experience, the girl here in tiny Torup who gave me a perm gave me the absolute best one I ever had. My trouble was when I needed a haircut and was going to have to wait two weeks to get in to see her. Mats and I went to another place. His hair was fine. Mine was a total mess. It was right before I went to America and my sister told me it looked like I had two different haircuts. It was razored on top down to fuzz on the ends. My hairdresser friend in America knows I like a little length and I had to have her cut it three times to fix the mess he made. That was the only thing to do. My hair hasn't been so short in years. I was so excited the other day that I had to send my sister an e-mail....I leaned over to do something and could see one curl. I could see hair without looking in the mirror!! hahaha Next time I'll wait two weeks, a month, however long I have to.

Oh Gosh this just reminded my of the WORSE ever hairdresser I have ever in my whole life been to!! So far anyways
It was in Spain and the woman was the wife of a friend of my father`s. Dad mentioned to him that mum and I wanted to get our hair cut and asked if he knew anyone that would do it. Of course he did! So, he sent us to see his wife!

As we arrived at the hairdresser`s we had to endure all her talk about her daughter, who was going to be a model! I was thinking, the kid has to be really pretty if she`s going to make it to be a model....As Im thinking this the girl comes in, the ugliest kid I have ever seen!!

Then, after her coming in, her mum had time to do my hair. She seemed to be pretty good at it and I was happy to see that I was going to look so pretty when she finished! Ok, when she actually finished the cutting, I looked lovely!

The next day I washed all the stuff she had sprayed out of my hair and after drying it, I had a look in the mirror.....

I LOOKED LIKE PAUL MCCARTNEY!!!!!!!!!


After that, I never again went to see this woman, nor did I let my dad ever again ask anyone of his friends if they know a hairdresser!!

I really do need to find a new hairdresser here in Kiruna. They are all over the place, so it shouldn't be too hard. I am quite shocked over the number of places, truth be told. I don't see how that many in one little town can make much money, but I go to the cheapest one (300 kr) so I guess they aren't doing too poorly. I only go to the one I go to b/c it is walk in so I don't have to call and make an appointment. I have an aversion to speaking Swedish on the phone, so walk in is better. However, there is no way in heck that I'll go to her before the wedding. She'll chop it all off without a second thought. I have a fear of new hairdressers, so if I need any chopping I'll do it myself (I'm not good, but I can at least get the bangs out of my eyes).

Oh now they are not poor, that is for sure!! The Barbie lady I went to will charge you from 999 SEK for shaving your legs!! Well, she wont shave them, but I mean, in the end it is going to be something like that!! I couldnt believe that when I saw it!!
