Leslie, I was lurking on the other site today for the first time in awhile. I saw your posting on money orders. Are you sending the money to a company or to an individual? Try going through online payment companies like Paypal, Billpoint, or Western Union. You can now order Western Union's online, I did it. They charge $3.95 for a money order up to a certain ammount, a little higher fee if the money order is bigger. The money order will get there. I do think the fee is still a bit high, but it sure beats the 100SEK or more that they charge at the bank's here. www.westernunion.comtake care.

Thanks Anna! We already tried PayPal, but my American account is empty (all that shopping in May on my trip home), and so we tried to register our Swedish CC with Paypal and it said we have to wait until we get our next statement and enter some member number from it! And that comes at the end of the month...not a lot of good right now! ugh! All that registering for nothing!
I did check out both Billpay and Bidpoint but for one reason or another those wouldn't work. Western Union's website wasn't helpful at all....argh! (maybe I will check it out again though for future reference) I tried a couple of other ways and nothing worked. So finally I thought of Carolyn! She has an account here and she is there...She was my last hope! I was able to transfer the money into her Swedish bank account and she will handle things from there!
Thanks again Carolyn! Hey, that rhymed!

Aha...now I know why Western Union's site wasn't much help. When asked to choose country of residence I chose Sweden. All of the options are shown on the main page. That is good to know for future reference!
