Sweden and it`s traditions

And, on the topic of traditions and holidays. What did you guys think the first time you came here, and maybe even after all the time you have been here, about all the new traditions and holidays you have had to incorporate into your life?

I LOVE Lucia especially, and you can never have too many nice holidays, so I have no problems with incorporating new holidays into my life.

I love the food at Christmas (except the fish, since I'm allergic) and I love even better the fact that it's my husband that does the cooking!

Midsommar is another particular favorite of mine.

I agree with you about Lucia! I really love the luciacats and I really really like a little piece of sill at Christmas! I dont need to eat a ton of it, but I do like a small piece!


Haha yes I agree, I like it alot when my husband cooks and he is the one that cooks for the most part!

Mid sommar because of the Folk music and a frolic out in a medow picking wild flowers for the hair.


Geee frolic some how does sound like a wonderful word but I mean walking in a field picking flowers with the kids.
