For those of you using eBay to purchase books and have shipped to you in Sweden, before you make a bid on a book, check out the prices at half.com first. Several times, I've found the exact same book, which can be shipped to me cheaper AND right away (instant gratification thing), rather than go through the bidding process and even pay a higher shipping fee on eBay. Or if the price is low on eBay and you get your bid in, but then somebody jumps the price up a bit, before you bid again on a book you really want, check and see if it's still going to be cheaper than half.com.

Boy, am I going to be sending books back to Sweden! Between Anders and I, neither of us is safe in a bookstore or around sales.

I know what you mean Carolyn, as both of the Duffs are very good with books and reading! My hubby is a very fast reader, I am slower, but together we have read a ton of books!!

Wow, that sounds great. I'll have to check on it (via half.com, of course). Did i ever tell you, I visited the town of Shrewsbury in England and went to the old abbey church of Saints Peter and Paul and saw the shrine of St. Winifred? They had a "Brother Cadrael Experience" set up there that was excellent as well.

I bought about 6 of the books translated into Sweden for about 25 SEK apiece last year and was working my way slowly through them. What better way to learn a language than to read your favorite books?
