Anybody doing anything special for Valentine's Day? I know it's not a Swedish tradition and my husband loathes the influx of American customs to Sweden, but I'm going to buy some early strawberries and dip them in chocolate and maybe we'll have a fire in the fireplace and eat chocolates together.

We are going to spend a quite evening at home. Alex's daycare had a Valentine's party at school yesterday so I made cookies and sent with him to school.

Mats and our best friends work till nine tonight. When they get off we're going for a late supper. I wasn't positive how the evening would go after that but I guess they have a plan.....the woman's son came by this afternoon with a mattress. Can you say 'sprit'? hahaha And I made Mississippi Mud Cake for dessert. No holiday, especially Valentine's Day, is complete without chocolate.

we spent our valentine's day at the hospital with our 3 year old daughter.. she has been quite ill since november with kidney problems and was back in hospital today.. so say an extra prayer for her until we can get things sorted out with her and find out what is causing her problems.
