Does anyone remember that song from Tommy Roe?
I loved that song growing up and I just found it again so I'm hearing it for the first time in almost 30 years. It is so much different than I remember! LOL
What were your favorites?

I don't remember that one, but one of my all-time favorites was "What a Day for a Daydream" by the Lovin' Spoonful, and it still makes me smile when I hear it. My husband and I both share a love for "America" by Simon and Garfunkel. Before we met IRL, when we were chatting on ICQ and talking about meeting and taking a road trip, he quoted the first lines to me: "Let us be lovers, we'll marry our fortunes together" and all during our trip, that was our theme song.

Carolyn,
What a sweet story!
I remember "What a day for a Daydream" too and loved that one when I was little too. I've got to see if I can find it.

I've found "What a Day for a Daydream" and I'm daydreaming now....
Sir Duke was a great classic, too.
My kids love these oldies. My daughter and her friends love "Shout", so I just had to teach them how to jump!

Oh I remember that one, I have listened to lots of old songs, loved most of them! Our theme song is She´s not gone, by Tansads, anyone ever heard them?
