Miss the good old U.S. of A.? For those hankering after home, here's some of the latest news.
A scandal is breaking in Nevada, where some guy is getting $10,000 a "hunt" from other good old boys. The target? Naked females, 2 of them, wearing only sneakers, who will run around in the desert for a couple hours, so the "men" can stalk them with paintball guns. It's not as bad as it sounds, though, because the naked women ARE allowed to wear eye protection and a helmet if they feel they need to.
Paint on temporary face lifts. Honest, I saw an infomercial on TV for this the other day. You just paint this clear skin like substance around your hairline and then push the saggy skin away from your eyes towards the hairline and hold it for only a few minutes and presto, when you take your fingers away, the saggy skin will miraculously be straightened out for up to 12 hours. As best I can figure out, it's some kind of superglue product, and they don't say where the skin goes to or if you have to re-arrange your hair to hide the excess skin or what. Also, I would imagine that doing something like that to already non-elastic skin would eventually cause more wrinkling and stuff, but hey, it's instant gratification, right?
Am I just getting old and stuffy, or have things gone way, way out of balance here???
