On BingoLotto. Actually, she told me they were going last night, so we watched and lo and behold, there she was many, many times too! Hope you enjoyed your shrimp sandwich, Sandy. Did any of you win anything?

;D It was a good sandwich! They fed us alot because it was an extra long show. Haley won a ny lott and 2 skraplotter. We had a bit of a damper put on the evening at the beginning. We had a group of 11. My step-son couldn't come so an american friend of mine from town came along. They spread us out over 3 tables, 5-5-1. My friend, Noel, volunteered to sit in the single spot. There were 2 other groups of 2 people at the same table, but only one of the couples was there when we were seated. They were sitting on the 2 outside seats which were next to our last table. My husband kindly asked them if they could move over/switch seats with Noel, so he could sit by us. The guy said "Nej, inte gärna, tack." . We did end up speaking to the woman that did the seating, Kicki, and she asked them, as well. The response was something along the lines of "We were here first." Unbelievable! Kicki apologized profusely and said that they really cannot force people to move and that that is not the way they prefer people to act. My husband was ready to take the guy out in the parking lot! After an hour or so, my husband relaxed and we had a pretty good time.

I have found it amusing how incredibly possessive Swedes (and possibly other Europeans, I don't know) are of their seats! I've gotten on trains to and from Stockholm where the car is nearly empty, one person sits in a seat and a few stops later, another person comes and says "That's my seat, it says so on my ticket" and makes the first one move, even if the rest of the car is nearly empty. Even happened to me once when I sat at a window seat and should have sat in the aisle seat. At first, I thought it was because THEY wanted to look out the window, but NO, they got out their newspaper and sat reading the whole time.

I've only done that when the train was full, especially when it is a long train ride. Funny thing was, I'm sure Kicki's intent was for the 1 person in our party to sit on the end by us.... such is life... I've had teachers and students coming up to me all morning asking if I was on tv and calling me a tv star! ;D
