well my dh met a moose the other day. got a little too friendly for his liking. he was on his way to work and it jump out from the left side and jonny hit her. she smashed the windshield and the roof and now we have no car (using a rental). but thank god, he had an angel on his shoulder that day. he only cut a chunk out of his finger. after you saw him you would of thought he was more hurt but it was mostly the moose's blood. they acutally touched noses, which is really gross. so all you drivers, watch for these big suckers. never know when one will jump at ya. melody

Sorry about the car, but at least those are replaceable, unlike good husbands, so I'm very glad to hear that HE is okay, other than the apparent shock of a moose lip-lock.

I second Carolyn's sentiments. Moose are one of the most frequent causes of traffic fatalities in Sweden. Glad he is okay.

Wow, that is scary! It is very good to hear that your husband was not hurt, though he probably was shaken up from the shock of it. Several years ago on a trip here during the winter my cousin and I almost hit a moose, but he was lucky enough to swere around the animal and we ended up in a field unhurt. Those moose are huge! Someone up above was watching out for your husband.

thanks, and i agree, somebody was watching for him that day. they are huge and it could of been much worse had it been a buck and not the cow. she was a tad smaller thank god.
