Today I had coffee with one of my friends here (she's american too) & we decided we're going to run tjejmilen next year! I'm so excited that I can barely contain myself! My friend signed up for it already, but I have to wait til payday. The cost is 275kr. We also found some cool sites to start running. The one is called The Couch to 5k Running program. It teaches you how to plan to go from not running at all to doing 5km in 9 weeks. Here's the link... www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtmlAnd here's the link for Tjejmilen... www.tjejmilen.se/start/Has anyone ran this before, or is anyone planning on doing it in 2004? It's 1 mil (6 miles) and you can walk, jog, or run. More than 25000 women participate every year.

Hmmm, well, I don't jog or run, leave that up to Anders, and I'm not walking 1 mil or 10 km, but if they ever come up with tjejcykelmilen, I'm in.

Today I ran my first time for my new "training". The program Couch to 5k Plan is 3 days a week, and you start out running 60 sec., then walking 90 sec., then running 60 again, and so on for 20 minutes. I can't believe I got out there and did it. Tjejmilen, here I come!!! This is too unbelievable for me to believe yet! I actually went out and freakin ran today. What's going on!?
