Geeze, I had to buy a swimsuit yesterday. Is there any hell that can beat standing in a changing room, looking at your naked body and then squeezing into suits?
After staring at my flabby, pale stomach, I just felt sick and now I am determined, I don't care what I have to do, that is going to go away. I'm going to ask Anders if we can join a gym together when I get home.
My legs are in great shape from the biking, my arms don't wobble, I DO have 2 chins, but I've always had a round face, but that front view, oh my god.

Haley, my lovely 17 year old daughter, found a program on-line for weight watching or maintaining: Hälsovakten. I've been using it for about 6 weeks now and have lost 6.6 kilos. You keep track of what you eat, you can add your own recipes and it calculates the calories and you add your motion for the day, so it increases the amount of calories you are allowed to eat, I really like it. There are 4 versions, basic, plus, active and pro, I think. You can download the plus version and use it for 7 days or use it on-line for the same amount of time. I bought the basic version, but plan to upgrade to the plus pretty soon. It just has some features that I like. Check it out!

I've been able to follow my plan, more or less, and am now down 14 kg since mid-May! I had to go to the store last week to buy new jeans, the old ones were just to big to take in!! ;D Only 2 more sizes to go!

Jen, if you go to Sandy's original message and put your arrow over the top of the word "hälsovakten" and click, you'll find it's a link.

How are we doing with weight loss? Some of us were on a fitness challenge before the holidays, but I fell off by the wayside. I will admit that is had lots to do with a family event, and ensuing emotional issues that came out of it. I am back now and ready for a challenge.
I am interested in losing about 15lbs but also increasing my energy and building a lasting workout routine. Anyone have a good suggestion/s for a workout that can be done in my apt? I am a student with limited funds so right now a gym membership is a bit pricey. I have a small trampoline that I hop on once in a while and do jumping jacks on, but I'd like some variation. Suggestions?

Well, all I can tell you is that try as I might, I seem to have plateaued and as much as I'd like to blame it (and everything else) on klimakteriet, that probably won't work for long.

I have lost almost 17 kgs.
I am still looking forward to warmer weather so we can get out and walk more.
