Employment for New Immigrants

Hope this looks right, haven't done a poll here but I enjoy the way they sum up information then encourage conversation afterwards Wanted to leave an N/A option in there so I could see the results!

Employment is my major concern when I get there, and I like to have an idea of what to expect.

I'm working now, but I had to start my own business and create my own work, mostly due to my age when I arrived here (50).

I didn't start looking for work right away because I got pregnant and had 2 kids first. But got lucky because the first job I applied for, when my 2nd child was 4 months old, was MINE from the moment I saw the ad.
