We had to put our beloved dog down He was my best friend & we now have to learn to live without him. We knew one day this day would come, but you're never prepared for the emotions.

Natooke, I'm so sorry for your loss. People who have never had animals can never understand the attachment of those who do, but nevertheless, it's a very real loss, especially since the animal never expected anything from you except food and kindness and gave back so much in return.

So sorry to hear about your dog, Natooke. That's a very hard thing to have to do. Wish they could live as long as we do.

Natooke, I'm really sorry to hear about your dog. What a difficult decision! I have a dog and I know what a huge part of the family she is. I can't imagine not having her here. *HUGS*

Natooke, I am so sorry to hear about that. It has to be the most diifficult decision one ever has to make. Let the tears and sadness flow.....someday you will be able to remember all the good things.

Not nice.
Smile when you think of all the paw prints he left on your heart.

I am so sorry for your family at the loss of your treasured friend. I have added a link to a website that focuses on the passing of a pet. There can one also leave a eulogy in honor of one's departed friend. There is a poem called, The Rainbow Bridge that I included that I think is just lovely and comforting to read. rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss.
We grieve because we are trying to hang on -- so grieve. But don't forget that it's the joyous things we should most want to hang on to, and so your heart will get lighter the more you think on them. May the pain of loss lessen but the memories never fade.
We're all thinking of you.
