It was a great feeling for me the first time we were in a large city here in Sweden and I ran into people Mats didn't know. Last weekend I was in a different COUNTRY and it happened! What are the chances of that happening? What have some of your milestones been since the move here?

Well, I suppose a small one was chatting with the old ladies at the bus stop, but a few weeks back, we went out to the shopping mall and were going to have lunch. It's a cafeteria kind of situation. Anders thought the line looked long and went off to seize a table while I stood in line, and by the time he got back, I had ordered lunch for the both of us and taken care of all that and he was surprised I could handle it, 'cause he's not used to my speaking Swedish. I do speak it a lot, but not when he's around usually.

I'd been here about 2 weeks and went to see the fish man in his little trailer and bought herring all in Svenska, insignificant to some but it felt good to me that he understood completely what I wanted.
