Anybody up for a booze cruise sometime this fall? Chicks only to Finland and back? I'm in the mood to get a little rowdy before the winter sets in, and I LOVE the shopping in Helsinki as well. ;D

Both Sabeine and I are closer to Stockholm. What other ports have a booze cruise? Maybe we could all meet in the middle somewhere?
Oh and by the way, may be down in your neck of the woods in the next few weeks. Anders has a job interview in Växjö ;D

Have you been to Växjö Carolyn? We stayed there one night while travelling around in the summer. It´s a nice little town, feels smaller than Örebro but in a very nice region.

Are you moving down south?? NOOOOOOOOO!!!! So back to original thread, who's up for the "booze cruise"?

We probably wouldn't be moving, at least not right away. First of all, it's a vikarie position through the end of January IF he gets it. Second, I refuse to move in the wintertime.
And me, since I proposed it, I'm up for a booze cruise anywhere really. Where else does one go except Tallinn and Helsinki?

I have to pass on this one. Mats and I are making a booze run to Denmark next week. It takes us about an hour to drive to Helsingborg (where there is an IKEA and a really great mall) and then 15-20 minutes to ferry across to Helsingör. I know that's not helpful info for you girls up around Stockholm but maybe for those farther South.

Well, I was looking at this as more of a chick's week-end out, not so much a booze run, but that's nice to know about Helsingborg if we do get to move further south.
Anybody else want to party? Surely, it's not just me, Sabeine and Natooke?

There's Helsinki, Talinn, Åbo, Åland that have cruises. Otherwise Gotland is a possibility though it's not a "booze cruise".
I've heard that Talinn is nice with lots of medieval things to see.

I would love to go but, with my 10yr. old daughter and a husband who has no vacation time left I'm stuck here at the house. What a blast it would be !!
