sorry for the swearingYesterday at the job site a forklifter decided to back up without looking behind & crashed into our car The picture doesn't really show the extent of the damage (& thank goodness for insurance) but we're looking at a bent frame We all know how much a car depreciates Our car is 8 years old & we had another 6 months of payment on it .. then we were free for a year or so, before it was time to buy again. Of all the times for this to happen we'll have to fork out more money that the insurance won't cover. SHIT SHIT F#@k DAM IT ... PISS ME OFF. No one was hurt & at least the machine wasn't any bigger or my husband might of been crushed.

Jeez how irritating! I can understand how frustrated you are. Not even your fault!

That really does s**k!
Our car is also 8 yrs old, but I still call it my new car. It still feels brand new and runs like it's brand new, so I would be royally p*ssed off too if someone did that to my brand new 8 yr old car!
Since he was obviously at fault - the other guy - wouldn't he be responsible for the deductible and the rest?...

For your husband not being in the vehicle - yay.
For the forklift driver not being aware - boo.
And I don't know enough about the insurance policies here to speak to that, but a bent frame is not a good thing. I do hope you get proper assistance from your company to make the right decision on this car.
What a pain to deal with.
callie - still not sure I want a car in Sweden, yet.

Up date, Our car is in the repair shop It ended up that the frame wasn't bent. We're using a rental car until ours is fixed.
