God, I sure hope the colors change, because as an old biddy, I can barely read the green on dark green with the black background.
Otherwise, I like this.

Where are you seeing the black background? The main background is like an eggplant and the other two are a sage green and a dark blue. Maybe the blue is showing up as black on your computer. I didn't take into account the color differences among other computers.

Well, I guess it's eggplant, but it's pretty darned black on my computer. Can you make the lettering lighter? I don't mind what the background is, as long as I can read the print. Don't forget, I have to wear bifocals!

Hmm...what colors are the rest of you seeing?
On my computer the text is quite a bit lighter than the background, I made it that way so that it would be easier to read.

I'm seeing the text as kind of a deep teal, and I can tell you that if there's any light on my screen or I'm not right up on it, it's difficult for me.
I sure like the smileys, tho.
I wish I could do this kind of thing. I'm so in awe of people who can.

My husband is going to divorce me if I don't get off the computer now...ha! Have been on since for about 4 hours now, so I have to go for now. But I will try to come up with something tomorrow that suits everyone. ;D

I'm know that the colours can be changed Carolyn ;D to lighter back ground ... I think a darker back ground is harder on my eyes too. Leslie wrote We sure can't have that can we

So now I've been [glow=red,2,300]thinking[/glow] and came up with a couple more different thread headlines! How about something like 'ISO', or 'Where do I find' and then people can ask where to find certain items, and the second thread headline could be 'Guess what I found?' or something like that, where people could post where they found 8x8 brownie pans, for example. Just a suggestion!

Well, I'm trying out different things to see how it looks...This is growing on me, for sure. [glow=red,2,300]That's what I am seeing, too. Just too dark for my taste, although the purple (eggplant) is my favorite color![/glow]

Will be experimenting today with the colors...so don't freak if you come by and can't read things. At some point I have to take Alex to his school for school pictures, so I may have to leave things undone for awhile.

Okay, well after spending the morning with 4 zillion screaming 2-5 year olds I am now home again. Have been working on the board and have something that is hopefully more to your liking...though I could be wrong. It's been known to happen before..sometimes even once a day! *stepping into suit of armor* So...let the criticism begin. ;D Hopefully it will be the constructive kind instead of the kind I have been giving myself this morning during the experimentation...exclamations like, "holy hell, what the *bleep* did I do now!"

Shelley No problemo! I like doing this sort of stuff...much better than hanging out with small Swedish monsters.
